Digital Audio Begins shipping their highly anticipated "T" series subwoofers

Press Release, September, 2009 – Digital Audio has ended the anticipation and is currently shipping their new highly praised “T” series woofers to dealers across the globe. What makes the “T” series so special and sets them apart from other woofers and makes this a must have for every audio enthusiast? Well were glad you asked and here are just a few of the features that make them the woofer you’ll want and need. The high rigidity mineral filled composite inverted cone provides outstanding cone rigidity and lowers distortion. Additionally, the combination of strength and weight allows for higher output levels without cone break up. The upper suspension or EDPM surround is made from synthetic rubber and has extremely high tensile strength to handle long excursion without breakdown or loss of recovery. This also provides a softer lighter suspension increasing efficiency. The bottom suspension or spider / damper is dual laminated cotton and provides a rigid progressive suspension for the woofer cone resulting in better bass response and excursion capabilities. The heart of this woofer is the single, 4-ohm 99.9% oxygen free copper wound voice coil on a black anodized former which makes the voice coil highly efficient in heat dissipation while also improving its power handling capabilities. The back plate is bumped and vented which allows the subwoofer more excursion without bottoming out. The speaker can be used in a smaller enclosure while the vent enables the circulation of cool air to enter the voice coil and aid in more cooling efficiency. Some of the other features that compliment this powerhouse are the platinum plated dual terminal blocks. No more trying to get 2, 10-gauge wires in a single 10 gauge terminal. The dual terminal blocks allow for easy series or parallel wiring with maximum conductor contact and 1 wire per terminal. The Strontium magnet / structure which guarantee's a maximum charge that will not dissipate over time like other lesser magnets and a heavy duty stamped and powder coated basket assembly to contain all of these superior parts. This series is available in 3 different models starting with the DA2210T, 10” woofer rated at 500 watts RMS with frequency response of 40 – 1500Hz and efficiency of 91dB @ 1w/1m. The DA2212T, is the 12” version and rated at 600 watts RMS, frequency response from 35 – 1200 Hz and 89.0 dB efficiency @ 1w/1m. Finally, the DA2215T is the 15” version rated at 800 watts RMS, frequency response from 30 – 1000Hz and 91.0 dB efficiency @ 1w/1m. These woofers will work well in either sealed or vented applications and require very little space for a huge amount of bass. To
