Brea, CA, December 17, 2005 – New for 2006, Digital Audio announces the introduction of a fresh new design for its Bandpass Enclosures. The DBP100X is a loaded bandpass enclosure that features a pair of 10-inch subwoofers, interior red LED lighting and a power output of 600 watts R.M.S.
The DBP100X boasts a 50Hz boost in comparison to typical ported enclosures and the horizontally-mounted, down-firing subwoofers feature Digital Audio’s Radial Ridge design, a circular step on the cone’s surface to better strengthen the cone during high volume levels. The enclosure is tuned with the employment of four flared, polished aluminum ports.
With a sensitivity rating of 103dB and frequency response ranging from 32Hz to 150Hz, the DBP100X has an innovative new design. The top surface features a convex arch that outlines the machined aluminum Digital Audio emblem, which is centered prominently above the subwoofers. This compact new design is form-fitted to better fit in most sedans and hatchbacks, an ideal solution for car audio enthusiasts looking to add a convenient bass boost to an existing sound system.
The DBP100X carries a target retail price of $199.99 and dual 12-inch and single 10- and 12-inch models are also available.
